Overview
Are you passionate about defending cloud environments at scale? Join a dynamic Cyber Defense Center in Barcelona and play a pivotal role in safeguarding a global leader against sophisticated threats. As our Cloud Security Incident Responder, you’ll shape detection strategies, lead response efforts, and collaborate with top experts on cutting-edge projects that truly matter.
What You’ll Do
• Lead the daily detection & response operations for cloud-based threats
• Develop and refine playbooks for incident investigation, triage, and remediation
• Collaborate with Detection & Response, Threat Prevention, and Data & Innovation teams
• Analyze security events, logs, network traffic, and threat intelligence to spot anomalies
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and detection capabilities
• Mentor and grow a newly-built incident response team in our Barcelona Hub
• Own end-to-end response actions - from alert to resolution and root-cause analysis
What You Bring
• 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT forensics, or malware analysis
• Deep expertise across Linux, Windows, networking, web technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Relevant certifications (GIAC, CISSP, CISA, etc.) and a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar
• Solid grasp of cloud-native threats, container security, and attack methodologies
• Hands-on coding/scripting skills (Python, Golang, Shell, PowerShell) and CI/CD experience
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving chops, and “out-of-the-box” thinking
• Familiarity with version control (GitHub) and database management
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
