The role emphasizes bridging security, technology, and compliance, driving innovative process changes, and partnering with senior leadership to enhance assurance for regulated customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Engineering, Information Systems Management or related fields.
• Experience in IT audits based on ISAE 3401, auditing COBIT, ITIL, IT-Grundschutz and assessments of highly technical cloud environments.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, energy, telecoms) including European audits and frameworks like DORA.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, regulators, and auditors and to drive innovative process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into the Amazon control environment to understand security activities and articulate compliance implications for customers and audit functions.
• Develop understanding of regulated compliance requirements and communicate how controls meet global obligations.
• Liaise with customers, regulators, and auditors to articulate control implementations and improvements.
• Implement continuous improvements to the security organization and program management processes; share best practices across the organization.
• Apply knowledge of global information security regulation to align customer impact with Amazon controls.
