UST España & Latam is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure developer environments on Kubernetes and Terraform. The role focuses on policy-driven security, cross-cloud portability, and robust CI/CD integration, with emphasis on AKS/EKS and Azure services.

• Hands-on engineer with Terraform, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Comfortable with security and architecture governance.
• High English level required.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate a highly available Coder deployment on Kubernetes (AKS) with PostgreSQL and OIDC.
• Design and implement Terraform workspace templates and golden-path developer environments.
• Create and maintain hardened base container images and secure development container patterns.
• Implement and validate security controls including: Network Policies, Secrets management, SSH restrictions, Audit logging and SIEM integrations
• Configure reliable connectivity to source control platforms, package registries, internal APIs, and databases.
• Perform load testing, scaling validation, cost optimization, and performance benchmarking.
• Evaluate developer experience metrics including cold-start times, responsiveness, and access friction.
• Ensure platform portability across cloud providers and avoid cloud-specific lock-in.
• Produce detailed documentation, operational runbooks, implementation evidence, risk assessments, and production readiness recommendations.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, identity integration, and developer workspace issues.
• Strong experience with Terraform in production environments: Module development and composition, Versioning strategies, State management, Drift detection and remediation and Maintainable Infrastructure as Code practices
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or similar): RBAC, Network Policies, Pod Security Standards, Resource governance, Secrets management and Cluster troubleshooting
• Experience building and maintaining container images and development environments.
• Strong Linux administration and network troubleshooting skills.
