T-Systems in Madrid is seeking a skilled network engineer to help design and operate state-of-the-art cloud-native 4G/5G core networks. You will analyze customer requirements, design solutions, and drive developments for the Packet Core Supersquad within T-DAT, collaborating across international teams.

You will work with Linux, containerized functions, and microservice architectures to optimize reliability and efficiency, while contributing to automation and deployment of new mobile core

Formación

• In-depth understanding of 4G/5G core networks, interfaces and protocols.
• Several years in telecom operations: incident, problem, change management.
• Experience with containerized network functions in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on Linux administration and protocol tracing in microservice setups.
• Ability to work independently and in international, cross-cultural teams.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into designs and technical specs for implementation teams.
• Engineer and design cloud-native network functions.
• Improve implementations to enhance customer experience, reliability and efficiency.
• Design automation solutions for provisioning and operation of services.
• Create high availability and disaster recovery plans for stability.
• Support complex projects across development, QA and planning; assist with new releases.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to streamline processes and performance.
