Job summary

Flywire is seeking an IT Cloud Engineer to join our Spain team. You will design, implement and refine internal cloud infrastructure, growing in cloud services, automation, and security while contributing to real production systems from day one.

You’ll design new infrastructure features, improve capabilities, and work closely with senior engineers. A collaborative problem‑solving mindset and quality coding are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Cloud, IT Infrastructure or DevOps role.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Linux and Windows Server installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Terraform for provisioning; Ansible for configuration management.
• Bash, Python, Go or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• CI/CD pipelines: GitLab CI or GitHub Actions; deployment workflows.
• Docker container technologies; Git for version control.
• Observability practices: metrics, logs, alerting; basic dashboards/runbooks.
• Security basics: secrets management, least-privilege, encryption.
• Proficiency in English; strong collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve reusable infrastructure code with the team.
• Automate operational tasks and implement automation solutions.
• Support performance, quality and responsiveness of infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infra and app deployments.
• Develop identity automation processes (Okta Workflows).
• Monitor infrastructure health and observability; build dashboards.
• Collaborate with global teams on projects.
• Contribute to security posture of infrastructure.
• Grow into a mentoring role as expertise develops.
