Descripción de la vacante

Making Science is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, improving data models with Airflow, Dataform, and BigQuery. You will develop serverless apps with Cloud Run/Functions, and create dashboards in Looker Studio or Power BI while ensuring data integrity and timely ETL processes.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience and a solid foundation in SQL and Python, with an undergraduate technical degree.

Formación

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics or other technical field or equivalent years of experience.
2–3 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Improve and scale the data model using Airflow, Dataform, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
Develop and deploy applications in serverless environments such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support data integration and transformation workflows.
Use SQL (BigQuery) for data modeling and feature engineering.
Develop robust data solutions in Python, applying OOP principles, package development, and data wrangling techniques.
Resolve data queries and provide technical support in the measurement of media and cc metrics.
Design and maintain reporting dashboards in Power BI and Looker.
Monitor and manage the integrity of daily and monthly data loading processes.
