Responsibilities

Lead data & AI projects across PagoNxt Payments to drive efficiency, transformation, and innovation across the organization

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in defining / shaping the Data & AI strategy of the company, and in inspiring the organization to ensure a successful execution.

Define and execute the data and artificial intelligence strategy for PagoNxt Payments, aligned with corporate objectives and business priorities.

Lead the adoption of Data & AI capabilities across the organization, promoting a data-driven culture and ensuring the responsible and secure use of advanced technologies.

Project Management and Execution

Consolidate, prioritize, and provide end-to-end oversight of Data & AI projects within Payments.

Ensure the effective execution of projects under their responsibility, guaranteeing tangible results, technical quality, and compliance with deadlines.

Act as the focal point to coordinate operations, product, technology, finance, and other Payments teams involved in data and AI initiatives.

Data Governance and Data Quality

Promote the framework for data governance, quality, and management, including standards definition, lineage, metadata, cataloging, and quality controls.

Ensure regulatory compliance regarding data use, security, privacy, and ethics in model development.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in roles related to Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, AI / ML, or information technologies.
• Proven experience leading strategic data and AI programs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, or similar fields.
• A Master’s degree in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or an MBA will be a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data and AI solutions.
• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive models, advanced analytics, and generative AI.
