Co-Founder & CTO – Build Something Big from a Proven Start

📍 Sweden / Remote within EU (CET)

We’re looking for a hands‑on technical co‑founder to join our early team. You’ll help turn a validated idea and prototype into a scalable product. The ideal person is comfortable continuing building the MVP and setting the tech direction before we expand the team.

Vica is a forward‑looking board intelligence that captures signals, predicts needs, and drives decision‑making speed. The tool helps board members to take the next steps as professionals and leaders for companies.

We are a team of serial entrepreneurs with a proven track record of building successful businesses and a strong reputation in the European startup scene. Backed by a robust network of investors and key customers, our concept has been validated with early signals from paying users.

Our product focuses on data security, seamless interoperability with existing tools, and controlled automation, all within EU‑grade compliance standards.

Your mission

Define the path from current state to a robust V1, or a controlled redesign if needed. Key areas:

• Security & compliance (EU‑grade): Ensure EU data residency, encryption, RBAC, audit trails, export/erase flows; support regulated environments.
• Scoped ingestion & integrations: Design allowlists/forwarding rules for email and documents (Gmail/O365, Drive/SharePoint/OneDrive) and optional integrations with portals/document stores.
• Identity & multi‑org: Support multi‑organization work with strong isolation, SSO/SCIM, role delegation, and clear data boundaries.
• Observability, cost & performance: Define SLI/SLO, instrument logs/metrics/traces, monitor latency/cost (especially LLM).
• Release & delivery: CI/CD, adopt IaC, ensure rollback and traceability for web and mobile.
• Team & workflow: Recruit first 2–5 engineers; implement AI‑assisted development workflows for code, testing, refactoring, and analysis; define coding standards and incident processes.
