From ASTEK Iberia, and for our international partner's team, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Control Engineer who has a taste for Chemical Engineering, or a Chemical Engineer with a taste for Control Engineering, to join our Optimization team in Madrid.
You will evolve in an international environment and with the global leader in engineering and industrial software.
Principal Accountabilities
Participation in new online modeling projects with the intention of developing skills for advancement. Participation would include engineering studies for analysis, specification, design of new applications and development of the application itself.
Ensure that customer online process models remain online and functioning at greater than 95% of the time that operation is feasible.
Perform routine maintenance on online models making adjustments in tag names and model structure so that the model remains synchronized to the plant.
Maintain a trusted partner relationship with customers by focusing on returning maximum value to the customer from the installed system. This includes consultancy to the customer and proactive involvement in the user of the system.
Engagement with the other members of the optimisation team in order to improve the quality and timeliness of the implementation projects, and also the value of the delivered applications. We are interested in expanding the use of our online modeling and optimisation technology into new areas as well as applying it in new ways in existing applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Essential Skills and experience:
integrated systems and refinery conversion units
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
PhD and/or 3-4 years relevant experience are valued.
