Job summary

IRB Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to support our Chemical Biology and Therapeutics Discovery Research Group led by Dr. Luke Lairson.

The successful candidate will maintain laboratory equipment, prepare samples, and assist with chemical biology experiments in a fast-paced research environment. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related fields and at least five years of lab experience, plus strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and collaborative person.
• Willing to keep on learning.
