IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Field Service Engineer or Technician in Spain. You will install hardware for automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare facilities, building technical and leadership skills in a leading medical device company.

The role is part-time/per-diem with 16-30 hours weekly and requires travel across local, regional, and national sites. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday, and training is provided and paid.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and Spanish/Portuguese required.
• Proficient with basic software programs and Windows OS.
• Ability to work with design engineers, project managers and healthcare staff to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow.
• Must pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements and immunization prerequisites.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle; travel locally, regionally and nationally.
• Willing to travel and sit/stand for long periods; up to 50 lbs lift.
• Immunizations up to date as required by facilities.

You will be responsible for installing hardware for automated medication dispensing systems within healthcare facilities throughout. This position requires you to travel 100% locally, regionally, and nationally. Due to the travel, the role requires open availability Monday through Friday. Work is assignment based, with a typical week including 16-30 hours worked, plus travel time.

Job Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; all tasks revolve around installing and configuring hardware, software and mechanical medical devices.
• Review of schematics / drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.

Schedule

• Per-diem, assignment-based position requiring travel and open flexibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachillarrito Diploma is required
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and Spanish/Portuguese is required
• Professional business acumen and communication skills required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to work with design engineers, project managers & healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow required.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status, required.
• Position may/will require up to date immunizations.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds required.

Travel Requirement

• An active and unrestricted driver's license is required.
• Will have a personal vehicle and willing to use it for job related assignments.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally weekly to support customer needs required.
• Needs to be located within 20 km of a major airport.
• Travel, and your time traveling is paid, as is mileage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military veterans with experience in electronics related MOS are encouraged to apply!
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
