GMV Viñuelas, ubicado en la comunidad Valenciana, busca un Ingeniero de Software C++ para centros de control de satélites. Participarás en diseño, desarrollo y evolución de software crítico para entornos operativos, colaborando en un equipo multidisciplinar.

Ofrecemos modelo de trabajo híbrido con teletrabajo 8 semanas al año fuera de tu área, horario flexible y plan de carrera. Movilidad nacional e internacional y paquete de reubicación, salario competitivo y beneficios de salud.

Formación

• Experiencia extensa en C++17/20 y Python 3.
• Conocimientos de pruebas de software (unitarias, integración, end-to-end).
• Experiencia en entornos Linux.
• Interés y capacidad para desarrollar backend en sistemas distribuidos.
• Inglés escrito y hablado fluido.
• Fuertes habilidades de trabajo en equipo.

Responsabilidades

• Participar en discusiones arquitectónicas y evolución del sistema.
• Colaborar con el equipo en revisiones de código y diseño.
• Asegurar la alta calidad y fiabilidad de las soluciones.
• Dar soporte a la resolución de incidencias y mejora de funcionalidades.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to the evolution of the system.
• Collaborate closely with teammates through technical reviews and design sessions.
• Ensure the high quality and reliability of all delivered solutions.
• Support incident resolution, debugging, and improvement of existing functionalities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and development practices.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for a Software Engineer with solid technical knowledgeand a passion for backend development to join the team responsible for the satellite control center of one of Europe's leading following skills are required for this position:

• Extensive experience in C++17/C++20 and Python 3.
• Solid knowledge of software testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
• Experience working with Linux environments.
• Interest and ability to work on backend development in complex distributed systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong teamwork skills and motivation for continuous improvement.

We will also value knowledge of:

• Additional languages used in our systems: Java, JavaScript (React, Node.js).
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization technologies.
• Interest or basic experience in frontend development.
• Experience with Git and modern branching/version control workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automation tools, and pipelines.
• Experience or interest in TDD.
• Understanding of hexagonal architecture, clean code, or other modern software design principles.
