Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Spain seeks a professional to support the training department in defining, developing, evaluating, and improving their training program for the C295 platform. The role is based at Matacán and involves creating syllabi for type rating and recurrent courses, plus defining instructor competencies.

You will translate operational tasks into learning outcomes, analyze data, and shape training matrices, ensuring alignment with operational standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Pilot with ATPL (A) license and C-295 flight experience.
• Experience as C-295 simulator flight instructor.
• Experience in training systems development.
• OACI English level 5 in force.
• Willing to work in shifts and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze EAE operational requirements.
• Identify training needs for each target population.
• Identify critical skills, knowledge, behaviors, and performance conditions.
• Prioritize tasks based on operational criticality and risk.
• Identify gaps in curriculum, instructor qualification, and training support processes to aware GRUEMA.
• Translate operational tasks into training objectives and learning outcomes aligned with C295 operational standards.
• Recommend the distribution of training content across classroom, training devices, and aircraft phases.
• Support the definition of structured syllabi for type rating and recurrent courses.
• Define instructor competency requirements.
• Establish student assessment criteria.
• Produce or update training material structures, course structures, and training matrices.
• Analyze training data, performance trends, and instructor/student feedback to recommend improvements.

Job Description: Accountabilities To support the EAE GRUEMA training department in the definition, development, evaluation, and improvement of their training program assuming the arrival of the new C295 platform supporting them to build the new syllabus for GRUEMA transport course. The position is based in Matacán.

Main roles and responsibilities for this position

• Collect and analyze EAE operational requirements.

Required skills

• Pilot with experience in multipilot/multiengine transport aircraft (2000 FH), including C-295 flight experiene
• Pilot with experience in tactical air transport (1500 FH),including C-295 flight experiene
• Pilot with ATPL (A) valid license
• Pilot with experience as C-295 Simulator Flight instructor
• Pilot with experience in training systems development will be considered
• OACI English level 5 in force
• The position will require to work in shifts, according to simulators schedule.
• Experience managing teams will be considered as a plus
• MS Office Suite at User Level
