A leading crop protection firm in Spain is seeking a Business Developer Innovations to commercialize innovative products across Southern Europe. You will leverage your extensive experience in crop protection, build key networks, and enhance product launches. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish or Italian and possesses excellent negotiation skills. This role offers growth opportunities and an attractive remuneration package.
Do you have a proven track record in launching crop protection products and building strong networks in the agri‑sector? Are you fluent in Spanish or Italian and eager to bring innovative solutions to market? At Globachem, we’re looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.
You are responsible for the commercialization of Globachem’s own developed innovative crop protection products in the different South‑European countries. You provide market insights, map competition and competing products. You are able to build a strong technical basis and understanding about our innovations and to transform your technical knowledge into compelling use recommendations to support a quick and convincing adoption in the market. You lead pre‑launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations. You are well connected with a solid network of distributors, CROs, advisors and industry influencers in at least Spain and Italy and are capable to build such a network in other South‑European countries. You coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements. You represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums. Together with the responsible sales manager, you select the distribution partners and set pricing. You work closely with your colleagues from Sales & Marketing and also across other departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain. You are part of the Sales & Marketing department and report to the Business Development Manager at our Headquarters in Belgium.
