A leading consulting firm in Madrid is seeking an experienced Senior SAP BW / 4 HANA Consultant for an international banking client. The role involves leading implementation, data modeling, and providing mentorship to junior consultants. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience and strong skills in SAP analytics and ABAP programming. Excellent communication in English is required; Spanish is a plus. This position requires on-site presence 2–3 days a week.

Formación

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BW / 4 HANA Consultant to join a high-profile project for an international banking client. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP BW / 4 HANA, data modeling, and analytics, with hands‑on experience in development, design, and implementation. This role requires both technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BW / 4 HANA design and implementation activities, including data modeling, extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Develop and optimize data models using LSA++ architecture principles
• Deliver high-quality solutions in ABAP, ABAP CDS Views, SQL Script, and BRF+
• Work on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Embedded Analytics, and Analysis for Office (AFO) reporting
• Support SAP S / 4 HANA integration, with exposure to FI, CO, MM, SD modules
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and sub-senior consultants on the project
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Participate in solution design workshops, technical reviews, and on-site client engagements

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of SAP BW / BW4 HANA experience
• Strong expertise in BW / 4 HANA, SAP HANA, data warehousing, and SAP analytics
• Hands‑on experience in ABAP programming, data extraction, and reporting
• Experience with BPC Embedded (10.1 / 11.0) and Integrated Planning
• Familiarity with LSA++ architecture, HANA Calculation Views, and CDS Views
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
• Proven track record of working in international projects and client‑facing roles
