SITA in Barcelona seeks a Senior Business Consultant to lead delivery of Airport Management Solutions. You will analyze client processes, design improved workflows, train superusers, and coordinate integrations with SITA systems across client environments.

Travel up to 30% to customer sites is expected. You bring extensive experience in IT and telecom consultancy, strong stakeholder management, and a solid grasp of SQL, Jira and Confluence.

Formación

• Extensive experience in Business and Technical consultancy in IT & Telecommunications, at least 7 years.
• Experience implementing complex software solutions at customers.
• Operating at Senior levels of customer (Heads of Depts/Functions). Understanding of Airline Industry IT environment is an advantage, specifically Airport Operations.
• Solid technical understanding and experience (MS SQL & Windows Server are desired).

Responsabilidades

• Work with customers to provide consultancy services and advice to resolve key business issues within field of expertise.
• Consultancy activities include capturing and prioritizing customer needs and business requirements, redesign of business processes, building customer capabilities to achieve operational efficiencies in cost reduction and/or service improvement.
• Develop and run structured client workshops and manage activities as required to enable the customer to fully realize the benefits of consultancy.
• Configure the SITA software according to business needs and technical requirements.
• Act as the bridge between customer and Product Management to bridge new customer requirements and facilitate the evolution of the SITA Products.
• Deliver as part of delivery team consulting assignments to build trusted relationships with customers, present key findings and recommendations, demonstrate technical credibility and obtain field/customer feedback.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert support to the SITA Sales Force.
• Execute consulting methodology and quality in accordance with corporate and regional standards (deliverables, customer satisfaction, profitable P&L, various indicators).
• Keep current with new technologies and industry trends.

Purpose

As a Business Consultant You Will Be a Key Component In The Delivery Of SITA's Airport Management Systems To Our Clients Within The Delivery And Implementation Team. Using Your Expertise And In-depth Knowledge Of Airport Operations As Well As Being a Subject Matter Expert On SITA Systems You Will

• Work with clients to understand current business processes
• Provide focused consultancy to provide new ways to optimize the client's business using SITA Technologies
• Train client superusers and facilitate the configuration and setup of the SITA Systems
• Work with clients and 3rd party vendors to integrate SITA Systems in the local environment
• Conduct User Acceptance Tests
• Provide early-life support after go-live
• The role as business consultant includes up to 30% travel activities to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating systems on technical and functional level. Good understanding of technologies used for integration (message queues, web services, API etc.)
• Development prototype capability is a plus

Education & Qualifications

• Business, Engineering or Information Systems degree or equivalent work experience required
• Business Analysis qualification preferred
