Galaxi Consulting Group busca un Senior Business Analyst (Manufacturing) para un rol permanente en España/Europa. El candidato trabajará en Pharma Global Technical Operations apoyando la iniciativa de Enterprise Recipe Management y desarrollará casos de negocio robustos.

Será responsable de entrevistar a stakeholders, mapear procesos, crear EPICs e historias de usuario, y facilitar la entrega junto a equipos técnicos, manteniendo cumplimiento GxP y alta interoperabilidad de datos.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-10 years of experience as Functional Architect and/or Business Analyst/ Consultant in a pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environment.
• Hands‑on understanding in product recipe design and parameter definition in related manufacturing systems (e.g. PLM, MES, LIMS, ERP).
• Proven experience in system integration projects (DeltaV, SAP S4 HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, or related).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into structured functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional global environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for drug substances and/or drug products.
• Availability between 3–7 PM CET for overlap with EU and US teams.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Interview business stakeholders, partner system responsible and domain leads to identify business opportunities and pre-assess their value, size and dependency to support business case creation.
• Design and document business process flow and user stories related to Emerson PKM (core application), integrations across MES, LIMS, ERP, and PLM systems, and reporting capabilities ensuring GxP compliance and data interoperability.
• Create functional specifications, architecture decision records, and technical documentation for PKM configurations, integration solutions, and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding of business process and data flows, system capabilities and architectural design.
• Identify relevant Generative AI/ML use cases within the manufacturing context and support their implementation.

Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Manufacturing) to join a Pharma Global Technical Operations in support of our Enterprise Recipe Management initiative. This role is pivotal in identifying high-value business opportunities and pre-assessing their feasibility and size to build robust business cases.

The successful candidate will serve as a Pharma Manufacturing Domain Expert interviewing stakeholders, understanding cross-system business processes, designing improvement opportunities, documenting detailed EPICS, User Stories and help delivering them with the project team. This is a highly collaborative role that requires balancing the needs of business stakeholders with the capabilities of technical teams.

General Information

• Location / Timezone: CET or NALA time zone (must be available during 3–7 PM CET “golden hours” for collaboration between EU and US teams)
• Work model: Remote or hybrid; no regular travel is expected

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5-10 years of experience as Functional Architect and/or Business Analyst/ Consultant in a pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environment
• Hands‑on understanding in product recipe design and parameter definition in any related manufacturing system (e.g. PLM, MES, LIMS, ERP)
• Proven experience in system integration projects (DeltaV, SAP S4 HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, or related)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into structured functional and non‑functional requirements
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional global environment
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for drug substances and/or drug products
• Demonstrated ability to de‑escalate, keep discussions productive, and focus on outcomes
• Availability between 3–7 PM CET for overlap with EU and US teams
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Good to Have

• Familiarity with ISA‑95 / ISA‑88 principles and enterprise‑level integration concepts
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies
• Previous Roche experience or work in similarly complex regulated environments
• Strong grasp of data interoperability, reporting standards, and business process mapping
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, relational data structures, and reporting systems

Nice to Have

• Proven ability to align architecture and process design across different IT domains
• Exposure to global or multi‑site manufacturing integration projects
