JINGDONG Logistics seeks an experienced Bulky Warehouse Manager to oversee large-item warehousing operations. You will ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of bulky items while leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include optimizing layouts, implementing robust inventory control, and driving safety and productivity. You will collaborate across departments to streamline end-to-end supply chain processes in a fast-growing logistics environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, especially bulky/large items.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bulky goods warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch.
• Design efficient warehouse layouts and material handling procedures for bulky items.
• Optimize space use and minimize damage with proper storage techniques and equipment.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff including supervisors and forklift operators; enforce safety and productivity targets.
• Monitor KPIs like receiving efficiency, storage accuracy, and shipping timeliness; take corrective actions.

Job Summary:**

JD.com, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bulky Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our large item warehousing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of bulky goods, optimizing processes, and leading a high-performing team.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bulky goods warehouse, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of large and irregularly shaped items.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material handling procedures, and inventory management strategies specifically tailored for bulky goods.
• Optimize space utilization and minimize damage to bulky items through proper storage techniques and equipment usage.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, and manual handlers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and productivity targets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving efficiency, storage accuracy, picking rates, and shipping timeliness, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards related to warehouse operations and bulky item handling.
• Collaborate with transportation, inventory, and customer service departments to streamline the end-to-end supply chain for bulky products.
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance schedules and ensure optimal functionality of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy lifting machinery.
• Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Job Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years specifically managing operations involving bulky or large items.
• Proven track record of successfully optimizing warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and reducing operational costs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory control software.
• Expertise in material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) operation and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
