Broker Reporting Junior Analyst

Zurich Insurance Group, Technology Delivery Center (TDC) in Barcelona, established in 2006, provides cutting-edge technological solutions and support to Zurich's local and global business units.

What Can You Expect?

As a Broker Reporting Junior Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work alongside experts in various technological domains.

  • Develop, improve and automate the broker reporting processes.
  • Design innovative solutions and collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics team.
  • Ensure that processes and standards align with Zurich’s internal quality assurance guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the central and regional Broker Relationship Management team and provide support to enable discussions in broker meetings.
  • Reconcile outputs with Finance to ensure accuracy and adequacy of the topline by broker.
  • Provide insights into underlying sales performance and apply the knowledge in the planning process.
  • Support with the automation of the Reserve analysis process, the automation of the Reserves dashboard (data sourcing and Power BI dashboard development) and Accident Year claims development analysis automation based on Claims Details.
What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
  • A Master’s degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Collaborative and culturally aware: experienced in working within multi-cultural teams, with strong communication skills.
  • Proactive and growth-oriented: eager to learn, take initiative, and continuously develop professionally.
  • Data analytics skills and affinity to applications/technology such as MS Office.
  • Data management, automation and programming skills (e.g. Python, VBA, R) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • A team player with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English; German and other languages are an advantage.
  • Some experience in data analysis, reporting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
