Job summary

Matrix Renewables is seeking a Marketing & Communications Analyst in Madrid to blend content creation, brand management, and digital marketing. You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Communications Director on international projects and gradually take ownership of initiatives as you grow.

The role emphasizes strong writing in Spanish and English, Proficiency in PowerPoint, CMS/WordPress basics, SEO, and analytics, with a hybrid work setup in Madrid.

Qualifications

• Ideally 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, digital content, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and content synthesis skills in Spanish.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to independently draft and adapt professional content.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including the ability to create well-structured, visually engaging presentations.
• Hands-on experience coordinating external creative suppliers or agencies, managing deliverables and revisions.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of LinkedIn content management, SEO, and digital analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
• Good visual judgment and sensitivity to brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate brand & corporate identity materials, ensuring messaging, visuals, and templates stay on-brand.
• Develop and maintain the editorial calendar for digital channels, especially LinkedIn.
• Draft, adapt, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with corporate priorities.
• Manage website content and YouTube material, coordinating with partners on publication and improvements.
• Support SEO initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen the digital presence.
• Collect, organize, and verify data for marketing and communications reports.
• Coordinate marketing activities across departments, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain organized marketing materials and improve internal workflows.
• Collaborate on corporate events and other initiatives as needed.
