What we’re looking for

We are looking for bookkeepers with a comprehensive background in QuickBooks and experience in the retail and e-commerce sectors. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, synthesize financial reports, and implement robust bookkeeping practices tailored to retail and online sales environments.

Responsibilities — what you'll do

• Implement and manage all functions in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely financial data processing
• Customize and utilize QuickBooks features for retail and e-commerce transactions and reporting
• Optimize QuickBooks to streamline financial processes for e-commerce and retail transactions
• Facilitate and oversee data entry with accuracy and compliance
• Provide insights on financial performance and forecasts, considering seasonal trends and promotional events
• Generate and analyze financial reports for e-commerce and retail operations (sales revenue, expenditures, COGS)
• Manage supplier/vendor invoicing, payment schedules, and financial interactions in retail/e-commerce supply chains
• Perform periodic financial reviews to ensure budget adherence and financial health
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audit processes

Requirements

• Fully fluent in English
• Demonstrated expertise in using QuickBooks for comprehensive financial management in retail and e-commerce
• Extensive experience and/or knowledge of the retail and e-commerce sectors
• Skilled in the use of apps and technology
• Ability to commit long-term and full-time
• Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific, Central, or Eastern)
• No prior work experience required, but we will consider any experience
• Serious, career-oriented candidates
