Eurecat Centro Tecnológico De Catalunya leads the development of biological technologies for environmental gas treatment in its WAS unit, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to push R&D&I projects from concept to implementation.

The role combines lab, pilot, and demonstration-scale work with opportunities to shape long-term research lines and liaise with industry partners across Catalonia and internationally.

Formación

• :Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Master’s in sustainability or related area.
• Experience in biological treatment of gaseous effluents (bioscrubbers, biotrickling filters).
• Experience in biological technologies for CO2 and CH4 valorisation.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in conceptualising and preparing R&D&I project proposals.
• Ability to work autonomously, with initiative, scientific rigour and results orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Drive development of biological technologies within the Air and Gases research line.
• Identify opportunities for new projects through technology scouting and monitoring.
• Liaise with clients and partners to support project follow-up.
• Prepare quotations and proposals at Catalan, Spanish and international levels.
• Coordinate teams and/or manage technical tasks within R&D&I projects.
• Conceptualise, plan, supervise and carry out project tasks and analyse experimental results.
