Job summary

THE BOARD | people & talent in Madrid seeks an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and scale AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security across production environments.

You will own IaC with Terraform, implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions, manage Docker workloads with ECS/EKS, and optimize networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancers). Hybrid role in Madrid with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong IaC skills using Terraform and automation tooling.
• Hands-on with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes).
• Expertise building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Job description

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and security across production environments.
• Deep expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and cloud governance.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and orchestration platforms such as Amazon ECS, with Kubernetes (EKS) knowledge considered a strong plus.
• Solid background building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enabling fast, reliable, and automated software delivery.
• Advanced understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, load balancers, and routing configurations.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities with Python, combined with experience developing operational tools, automating workflows, and improving platform efficiency.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to support platform operations, data analysis, monitoring, and performance improvements.
• Ownership of security, compliance, and cloud best practices, ensuring infrastructure aligns with cybersecurity requirements, data protection standards, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions, proactively identifying improvements and driving infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and problem‑solving skills, working effectively with engineering, product, and cross‑functional teams while taking end‑to‑end ownership of cloud platforms and DevOps processes.
