CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
(Remote - CET ± 4 h)
This hybrid role combines hands-on expertise in Mautic with multichannel campaign management and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal developers, and the CEO.
You will be the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the primary contact for delivering value through our managed deliverability and profitability-focused ESP.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Operations & Analytics
- Manage the Mautic stack – installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
- Access servers via SSH to audit and optimize cron jobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OPS.
- Identify and fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing workers.
- Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on engagement data to validate KPIs and generate insights.
- Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox, maintaining inbox placement >95%.
- Integrate Mautic with client websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
- Customer Success & Coordination
- Serve as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule meetings, gather requirements, create tickets, track SLAs.
- Coordinate hand-offs between dev team, CEO, PM, and clients; ensure clarity on expectations, blockers, and deadlines.
- Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
- Collect feedback and convert into backlog items or optimization ideas.
- Project Prioritization & Growth
- Co-manage JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritizing tasks for maximum ROI.
- Run experiments (subject-line tests, new segments) and measure impact.
- Identify and scope new customers fitting our profile (10+ million emails/month).
Skills & Traits We Value
- 2–4 years experience in CRM/Marketing Automation, with at least 1 year as primary Mautic owner.
- Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), including window functions and cost control.
- Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and executives.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and a 'definition of done' mindset.
- Fast iteration mindset with lean resourcefulness.
- Mastery of AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot for rapid content creation and queries.
- Bonus: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable; proficiency in French.
- Alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles.

- 30 days: Set up a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up plan, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and document processes.
- 60 days: Lead Customer Success for one client, achieving consistent growth and resolving issues proactively.
- 90 days: Manage three clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention and source a new customer.
