Spherical is seeking a Creative Studio Director to lead our Barcelona studio, uniting brand, digital, web, social, campaigns, content, photography, film, and design into a cohesive multidisciplinary team. You will guide senior creative review, mentor talent, and ensure high-caliber output across channels.

You will partner with the Head of Creative to elevate standards, develop people, and shape the studio’s identity in a hospitality-forward context.

Formación

• 10+ years across design, art direction, creative direction, or multidisciplinary creative environments.
• Significant experience leading and developing creative teams.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, feedback, mentorship, and career development.
• A sophisticated portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative judgment, ideas, and craft.
• Broad experience across several creative disciplines, ideally including brand, digital, websites, campaigns, social, content, photography, film, and advertising.
• Strong understanding of how creative ideas translate across channels and experiences.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary teams around a shared creative vision.
• Strong organizational instincts and experience balancing creative ambition with priorities, timelines, and resourcing.
• Experience partnering with strategists, writers, producers, project managers, marketers, product teams, technologists, and external creative partners.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including confidence working directly with senior clients.
• Excellent visual judgment, cultural awareness, curiosity, and attention to detail.
• Meaningful experience in hospitality, travel, luxury, lifestyle, or similarly experiential brands.
• Genuine interest in hotels, travel, design, culture, and place.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience working directly with luxury hotels, independent properties, hospitality groups, or global hotel brands is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Spherical’s Barcelona creative studio across brand, digital, web, social, campaigns, advertising, content, photography, film, and design.
• Build a strong studio culture where people share ideas, challenge one another, learn, and care deeply about the work.
• Provide senior creative review across work in progress, strengthening ideas, execution, craft, and coherence.
• Help creative direction enter projects early enough to meaningfully shape the work.
• Translate overarching creative direction into clear guidance for multidisciplinary teams.
• Bring disciplines together around shared ideas rather than disconnected deliverables.
• Coach and mentor creatives at different stages of their careers.
• Establish strong rhythms around critique, feedback, training, and development.
• Understand individual strengths and development needs and create opportunities for people to grow.
• Work closely with the Head of Creative to maintain and raise Spherical’s creative standards.
• Partner with Content, Strategy, Integrated Marketing, Product & Technology, Production, and Project Management.
• Assemble the right creative teams around projects based on the needs of the work and the strengths of individual people.
• Maintain visibility across active work and help make thoughtful decisions around priorities, capacity, and resourcing.
• Work with project and operations teams to keep work moving effectively while protecting creative quality.
• Help teams build broader creative systems and ideas that can live across channels and experiences.
• Lead collaborative working sessions and critiques.
• Participate in key client presentations and creative conversations with clarity and confidence.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the studio through recruiting, freelance relationships, training, tools, and evolving ways of working.
• Help shape the continued evolution of Spherical’s creative practice and Barcelona studio.
