Ring is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will help us create the next generation of apps and services. In this role, you will work as part of the Ring backend team, collaborating with cross-functional engineers and product managers to design, test, learn, and iterate on solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The Ring backend team powers the experiences our neighbors use with doorbells, cameras, and other devices.

Formación

• Experience in professional software development (non-internship).
• Experience designing or architecting scalable distributed systems.
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsabilidades

• Design and document distributed systems and microservices.
• Implement robust and maintainable code with clear documentation.
• Deliver customer value iteratively while building toward longer-term roadmap goals.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and keep them informed of changes.
• Implement test automation with unit and integration tests.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and system design while ensuring security and compliance.
