Balance busca un/a Backend Engineer para unirse al equipo en Gijón, Principado de Asturias. Se valorará experiencia en Go, DDD y crecimiento profesional en un entorno ágil. Participarás en sistemas para escalar soluciones y te incorporarás a proyectos desafiantes con tecnología de vanguardia.

Formación

• Conocimiento excelente de Go o lenguaje similar y sus últimas versiones.
• Conocimientos de DDD, testing, SQL y Fiber o frameworks modernos.
• Experiencia en CQRS, Redis, NATS o Docker.
• Habilidad para resolver problemas, trabajo en equipo y comunicación.
• Proactividad para mejorar código, arquitectura y tecnologías.
• Autonomía y atención al detalle durante análisis e implementación.
• Inglés técnico competente.

Responsabilidades

• Harás lo necesario para mover el avance del proyecto y aportar valor.
• Analizar, estimar y definir características y viabilidad de la aplicación.
• Construir código y bibliotecas limpios, probados y reutilizables.
• Integrar con bibliotecas y APIs de terceros.
• Realizar revisiones de código entre pares.
• Optimizar aplicaciones para escalabilidad y rendimiento.
• Investigar nuevas tecnologías y metodologías.
• Participar en reuniones ágiles y técnicas.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Backend developers to join us in this growth phase in which we have to face new projects and challenges. If you have some experience working with Go, DDD and will to improve you have all you need to grow with us.

What will you do

• You will do what it takes to move the needle. Among all the things...
• Analyze, estimate and define application features and viability
• Build clean, testable and reusable code and libraries
• Integrate with third party libraries and APIs
• Peer code reviews
• Optimize applications for scalability and performance
• Research on new technologies and methodologies
• Join the team on Agile & tech meetings

You have to

• Excellent knowledge of GO or similar language and latest releases features
• Good knowledge of DDD, testing, SQL and Fiber or any other modern framework
• Experience on CQRS, Redis, NATS or Docker will be appreciated
• Excellent problem analysis & resolution skills Teamwork & communication skills
• Proactivity to improve the code, the architecture and our current technologies usage
• Autonomy and outstanding attention to detail during analysis and implementation
• Proficient technical English

You must

• Work authorization xkdbapo in the EU (No visa sponsorship)
• Willingness to work from Madrid HQ with hybrid flexibility or remote positions along Spain timezone
