Job summary

Utimaco is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments in Azure and drive IaC using Terraform. You will create Helm charts, secure production networks, and integrate Vault for sensitive data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes (AKS) environments in Azure.
• Proficiency with Helm charts and Terraform for IaC.
• Strong skills in network configuration, security, and Azure services.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Sensu, Grafana Loki, OpsGenie.
• Familiarity with Vault for secure data handling.
• Production Azure environment management experience.
• Solid DevOps understanding and IaS concepts.
• Hands-on Terraform automation experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and trends.
• Strong verbal and written English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments in Azure.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts to streamline deployments.
• Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Configure networks including VPNs, VNETs, NSGs, routes and Azure Firewall.
• Ensure security of production environments with best practices and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Azure services like Azure Firewall, Azure App Gateway, DDoS, storage, and PostgreSQL.
• Utilize HashiCorp Vault for secure storage and access control.
• Analyze and document existing architectures for continuous improvement.
