Allen Recruitment is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will design secure and scalable cloud architectures, create architecture blueprints, and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Bicep. The ideal candidate has deep Azure expertise, knowledge of AWS or GCP, and strong skills in cloud security and governance. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence standards and guide teams within a Cloud Center of Excellence while ensuring solutions are high-performing and cost-optimized.

Formación

Our client is building a modern, secure, multi-cloud foundation—and we’re hiring anAzure Cloud Architectto help lead the design, governance, and delivery of cloud architecture acrossAzure(primary) andAWS/GCP.

You’ll join theCloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)and play a key role in defining how teams across the business build, migrate, and modernise platforms and workloads in the cloud—securely, efficiently, and at scale.

What you’ll be doing

• Designingsecure, scalable, resilientcloud architectures acrossAzure + multi-cloud
• Creating and maintainingarchitecture blueprints, reference designs, and standards
• DrivingInfrastructure as Codeand automation usingTerraform / Bicep / ARM
• Partnering withDevOps, engineering, infrastructure, and securityteams to balanceperformance, cost, and compliance
• Supportingcloud migrations, modernisation, and refactoringtoward cloud-native patterns
• Participating inarchitecture reviews / governance boardsto ensure best practices are followed
• Providingtechnical leadershipacross teams throughout the solution lifecycle

What we’re looking for

• Strong cloud architecture experience withdeep Azure expertise
• Working knowledge ofAWS or GCP(multi-cloud mindset)
• Strong IaC skills:Terraform / Bicep / ARM
• DevOps & delivery understanding:CI/CD, automation, operational reliability
• Cloud security & governance awareness:identity, networking, RBAC, policy (Azure Policy), CIS benchmarks
• Comfortable with containers and cloud-native patterns:Kubernetes / Docker
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
