Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor patients' vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Ensure patient rooms are clean, comfortable, and safe.
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing as directed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Respond to patient call lights and needs in a timely manner.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist with basic wound care and dressing changes under supervision.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Completed a recognized Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Assistant program.
• Valid certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Previous experience or clinical placement in a healthcare setting is preferred.
