WeRide in Madrid is seeking safety-focused drivers to support our autonomous vehicle operations in Madrid. You will safely operate and monitor vehicles during road testing and daily operations, taking control when required and following all safety procedures.

The role includes basic vehicle inspections, EV charging, reporting incidents clearly, and supporting demonstrations and on-site testing. Fixed shifts, weekend work, and a structured training period are provided, with an upfront contract

Formación

• EU driving licence (Category B) held for at least 3 years.
• Legal right to work in Spain.
• Safe driving record with no major accidents or serious violations in the last 3 years.
• Comfortable working fixed shifts, weekends and in a safety-focused environment.
• Responsible, attentive and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Professional driving experience in VTC, taxi, private driving, delivery, logistics, fleet operations or vehicle testing is highly preferred.

• Support vehicle testing, demonstrations and other on-site operational activities.

Requirements

• Valid EU-issued Category B driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Legal right to work in Spain.
• Safe driving record with no major accidents or serious violations in the last 3 years.
• Comfortable working fixed shifts, weekends and in a safety-focused environment.
• Responsible, attentive and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Professional driving experience in VTC, taxi, private driving, delivery, logistics, fleet operations or vehicle testing is highly preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• €1,900 gross per month
• 22 working days of annual leave
• 5 working days + 2 days off per week
• Fixed morning or afternoon shift after assignment
• Approximately 2 weeks of paid operational training
• Employment contract signed from the first day of training
• Hands‑on experience in the autonomous driving industry

Current shifts

• Morning: 07:00–14:30
• Afternoon: 13:30–21:00
