AVL Iberica seeks a motivated Data Scientist Intern to join our Valencia team. The role supports analysis of large automotive datasets, building big data tools in Python, and creating reports and visualizations for testing and validation activities.

As an intern, you will work with experienced data scientists and engineers in an international environment, with mentoring and hands-on experience in data analytics, modeling, and automation of data tasks.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Possibility to sign internship agreement with university or educational institution.
• Basic/Intermediate Python programming skills.
• Basic knowledge of data-processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy.
• Interest in statistical analysis, data modeling, ML and AI.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Git or cloud-based data environments is advantageous.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in data analytics and data science.

Responsabilidades

• Support analysis of large datasets from vehicle development and validation.
• Develop big data tools using Python and ETL/ELT processes.
• Assist in statistical analyses to identify trends and anomalies.
• Contribute to dashboards, reports and visualizations.
• Collaborate with engineers and data specialists to interpret results.
• Help automate repetitive data-processing and reporting tasks.
• Contribute to data-driven improvements in testing and validation.
