Job summary

INBRAIN Neuroelectronics is seeking an Equipment & Automation Engineer to own production equipment lifecycle, from specification to qualification and handover to Operations, in a high-tech manufacturing setting. You will design maintenance strategies, lead predictive and preventive maintenance, and develop automation solutions to improve safety, throughput, and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with production equipment in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and maintenance strategy for assigned production equipment.
• Lead predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize uptime and production continuity.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Define technical requirements and specifications for new production equipment and critical spare parts.
• Lead equipment implementation projects from concept through installation, commissioning, qualification, production release, and handover to Operations.
• Coordinate equipment upgrades, modifications, and end-of-life activities.
• Design and implement custom tools, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve safety, throughput, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends to prioritize improvement initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance manufacturing capability and reduce recurring issues.
• Partner closely with Operations, Facilities, Quality, Procurement, external suppliers, and service providers.
• Coordinate facility readiness activities, including utilities, infrastructure, layout, safety, and environmental requirements for new equipment installations.
• Maintain equipment lifecycle documentation, including maintenance plans, calibration requirements, risk assessments, technical drawings, qualifications, validations, and change-control records.
• Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with ISO 13485 and internal quality procedures.
