Job summary

Aristocrat in Barcelona is seeking an Associate Data/Product Analyst to join our games team. You will define, extract and action product data from large datasets, covering data mining to reporting, and demonstrate the impact of analytics through dashboards and visuals to stakeholders across the company.

You will work closely with product analysts and data scientists, implement tracking in games, build end-to-end data pipelines, and deliver insights that influence product decisions and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a product or data analyst role.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI or QlikView.
• Experience setting up and analyzing A/B tests would be desirable.
• Strong mathematical and quantitative analysis abilities.
• Interest in gaming and mobile games is highly desirable.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience with Python and/or R would be ideal but not crucial.

Responsibilities

• Work with product teams and DS to implement tracking in games to collect player data and build reports showing insights into player behaviour and product performance.
• Form new insights and perspectives to advise decisions and help delight players.
• Produce reports and deliver insights that influence the game roadmap and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with game teams and DWH to create end-to-end data pipelines used by end users.
• Develop reports and monitoring of daily targets with product/game teams.
• Investigate production issues, analyze and optimize existing features and A/B tests.
• Use creative thinking to craft, test, verify, and implement solutions.

Job description

This is an opportunity for you to join our beautiful Barcelona office as an Associate Data/Product Analyst. You will be working together with other product analysts and data scientists embedded in our games team. You will have a key role in defining, extracting and actioning product data from big datasets. Thus, covering the full scope of data mining to reporting. In addition, you will also be responsible to show the impact of product data via dashboards and/or other means of visualisations to team members throughout the company.

This role is intended to strengthen the craft of analytics in Product Madness and to ensure product teams are making informed decisions based on actionable insights. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Produce reports and deliver insights that have an impact on the strategic direction of our games and the game roadmap.

• Work closely with product and game teams to develop reports and monitoring of daily targets.
• Investigating issues in the Production environment, analysing and optimising existing product features and A/B tests.
• Apply creative thinking towards crafting, testing, verifying, and implementing solutions.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a product or data analyst role

• Experience of standard reporting tools such as Looker/QlikView/Tableau/Power BI etc.
• Working experience setting up and analyzing A/B-tests would be desirable
• Strong in mathematics and quantitative analysis
• Interested in gaming and the mobile game industry, any experience in these industries would be highly desirable
• Proficient in English
• Experience with Python and/or R would be ideal but not crucial
