The project!

As an Assistant Store Manager you will have the opportunity to join a strong and successful business with ambitious yet realistic growth plans. This position is responsible for achieving the sales and profit targets. You will manage and coordinate the daily operations of the store and sales staff and report the results of your work to the Store Manager. You will work continuously on improving the service quality in the store and ensure that a store ambience is achieved in line with the corporate identity.

What will the role entail?
Sales & Customer Service
  • Ensure excellent customer service and effective zoning on the shop floor.
  • Maintain company standards in all store areas (FOH, BOH) per brand guidelines.
  • Provide feedback on customer service and support sales by monitoring and driving KPIs.
Operations
  • Ensure compliance with Karl Lagerfeld operational guidelines.
  • Oversee POS transactions, stock maintenance, and replenishment.
  • Execute merchandising plans, campaigns, and promotions on time.
  • Maintain correct pricing, signage, and a hazard‑free environment.
  • Prevent theft and ensure adherence to health & safety policies.
  • Communicate and implement head office directives within the team.
Commercial
  • Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to drive improvements.
  • Assist in forecasting and merchandising strategies to boost sales.
  • Monitor competition and anticipate customer demand.
People Management
  • Support recruitment, development, and motivation of the team.
  • Provide structure, coaching, and performance management.
  • Manage absenteeism and ensure daily priorities are met.

Requisitos
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible retail experience, with a minimum 2 years management experience.
  • Languages: English advanced.
  • Broad experience managing teams and creating the best environment at the store. Leadership skills are key to success.
  • Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service.
  • Retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, leadership and sales experience required.
  • Communicate honestly, openly and constructively.
