GE Vernova’s Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy. FieldCore is looking for engaged and driven individuals with a passion for engineering to enroll in our Early Careers Mechanical Engineering Program in Spain.
You will start by being enrolled in FieldCore’s Early Careers Program (ECP). While in the ECP, you will develop in-depth technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity to go through our in-person and online training curriculum as well as learn from experienced Mechanical Technicians with on-the-job training. You will gain hands-on experience and grow your career whilst traveling the world to provide power to communities. Upon successful graduation from the Early Careers Program, you will be eligible for a Qualified Mechanical Technician.
During the program, you will work on site as a Mechanical Assistant, under the supervision of your assigned mentor. You will safely accomplish the installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy rotating machinery mainly used in power generation applications. You will receive direction onsite from Lead or Senior Turbine Mechanics and work closely with FieldCore’s Skilled Craft Labour Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to achieve your goals.
