Enerpac Tool Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician to safely assemble, test, and maintain mechanical systems in line with technical specs and HSE standards. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing tests, and implementing improvements in a manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate will have a technical diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of experience, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. Based in Mallabia/Bilbao area with potential travel to company sites as required.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize work activities according to job requirements and safety standards.


• Apply appropriate mechanical assembly and joining techniques (e.g., bolting, fitting, hydraulic connections).


• Assemble mechanical parts, components, and systems in line with technical specifications.


• Perform functional and quality tests on assembled equipment to ensure compliance with standards.


• Implement modifications or adjustments as required by engineering or customer specifications.


• Set up, calibrate, and adjust mechanical devices and tools for optimal performance.


• Diagnose and analyze mechanical faults, identifying root causes and corrective actions.


• Report any deficiencies or irregularities during work execution to the team leader promptly.


• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, company processes, and actively contribute to safety awareness and continuous improvement.


• Represent the company professionally in all interactions, both internally and externally.


• Adhere to company policies, ensuring safety and health remain the top priority at all times.

• Aplicar técnicas adecuadas de montaje mecánico y unión (por ejemplo, atornillado, ajuste, conexiones hidráulicas).


• Montar piezas, componentes y sistemas mecánicos conforme a las especificaciones técnicas.


• Realizar pruebas funcionales y de calidad en los equipos ensamblados para garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares.


• Implementar modificaciones o ajustes según lo requerido por ingeniería o por las especificaciones del cliente.


• Configurar, calibrar y ajustar dispositivos y herramientas mecánicas para un rendimiento óptimo.


• Diagnosticar y analizar fallos mecánicos, identificando las causas raíz y las acciones correctivas.


• Informar de manera oportuna al líder del equipo sobre cualquier deficiencia o irregularidad durante la ejecución del trabajo.


• Cumplir con todas las normativas de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente (HSE), los procesos de la empresa, y contribuir activamente a la concienciación en seguridad y a la mejora continua.


• Representar a la empresa de manera profesional en todas las interacciones, tanto internas como externas.

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques and use of hand and power tools.
