A confidential company in Spain is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage accounting processes using SAP. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local tax laws, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with multiple departments for account management. The ideal candidate has a degree in business administration, fluency in English and Spanish, and at least 5 years experience in the accounting field within a multinational setting. Competitive salary offered, ranging from 40K to 45K.

Formación

Overview

Working in Barcelona, will be responsible for the Accounting using SAP, in compliance with local legal and tax requirements, as well as the corporate closing calendar, providing said service to the Company with the expected quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee that the accounting books are aligned with the Headquarters Accounting Group guidelines and ensure the correct postings of all the accounts ensuring that the accounting closing follows the corporate calendars.
• As the responsible of all Balance accounts and bookkeeping for all monthly closings: Confirm with the different areas the balance of accounts and its regularization if needed.
• Review transitory bank accounts
• Post and match the payroll interfaces
• Prepare and post tax payments and accruals.
• Prepare, review and document the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement
• Provide the information required by Auditors and Tax Inspectors
• Participate in the preparation of the Annual Accounts

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant studies.
• Specific knowledge
• Accounting
• Taxation (Experience in Spanish tax declaration)
• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance
• Spanish law.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational company in the accounting department and / or Shared Services working with SAP.
