Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Agentic Architect to join our Madrid/Bilbao/Barcelona team. You will design development harnesses for autonomous agents and build multi-agent applications across client stacks.

You will connect business needs with IT strategy, guide tech choices, implement LangGraph/LangChain architectures, and ensure scalable, auditable solutions. Strong communication with CTOs and architects is required.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering/architecture, with 2+ years in production LLM systems.
Experience coding agents (Claude Code, Codex CLI) configured for teams.
Proficient with LangGraph/LangChain at architecture level; advanced Python.
Experience with MCP: server design and permission models.
LLM evals and observability (LangSmith, Langfuse).
APIs for model endpoints (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex) and tool-use patterns.
Enterprise architecture: Azure/GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD.
Ability to engage with CTOs and client architects; professional English.

Responsibilities

Design agent harnesses: hooks, skills, sub-agents, permissions, context, quality gates.
Define the intent → spec → plan → diff chain and controls (evals, tests, human review).
Architect multi-agent systems with LangGraph and MCP integration.
Strategy for LangSmith evaluations: golden datasets and pipeline gates.
Observability, cost, and security of agents (prompt injection, guardrails, AI Act).
Apply harness to migration: specs from legacy code and app regeneration.
Architectures of reference, ADRs, mentorship and support to pre-sales.
