Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Barcelona, Spain offers an Apprentice Finance Planning Project role to support finance master data, including cost centers, GL accounts, and product hierarchy. You will map data from legacy systems to the new planning solution and assist with backlog management in Jira, plus documentation in Confluence.

You will participate in user acceptance testing, document results, and help create end-user guides, coordinating with local units and central teams to align data requirements

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Good organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of data structures; database management and analysis is a plus.

• Support the mapping and reconciliation of data between legacy systems and the new planning solution.
• Help maintain the project backlog, tasks, and timelines using Jira, and contribute to preparing meeting materials and documentation in Confluence.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, document the results, and follow up on any defects or issues.
• Assist in creating end-user documentation and provide support during deployment and training sessions.
• Coordinate communication between local business units and central teams, supporting alignment of data requirements across business and technical stakeholders.

• Advanced management of Microsoft 365, proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.).
• Technical skills: Experience with Jira, Confluence, SAP BW4/HANA, SAP Analysis for office, SQL, ETL (is a plus)
