Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Barcelona is seeking an accounting assistant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, analyze data, and assist with month-end and year-end close.

Under the supervision of the financial controller, you will reconcile balance sheet accounts, assist with intercompany, and extract data from ERP systems for predefined Excel formats. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• 1-2 years’ work experience in the accounting department in an International Industrial Group and/or Big Four.
• Knowledge and regular practice of SAP, SAP BPC and BW.
• Accurate with figures and respect deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other European languages would be an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
