A global food ingredients manufacturer is seeking an Applications Meat Manager in Vigo, Spain, to ensure profitability within the meat industry client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in meat R&D, hands-on laboratory expertise, and strong technical training capabilities. High proficiency in English (C1) is mandatory, with valuable knowledge of Spanish. This role includes driving R&D programs and delivering high-quality technical support to clients.

Formación

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in meat R&D or technical-commercial roles.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with texture analysis and physicochemical testing.
  • Experience in pilot-scale or industrial process validation.
  • Familiarity with industrial meat processing and related equipment.
  • Experience delivering technical training or application support to clients.

Client: Global Food Ingredients Manufacturer

Applications Meat Manager

ensure short and long term profitability within the client portfolio for the meat industry through process and products / recipes optimization and optimal development and innovation.

Drive and support R&D programs for meat solutions ensuring robustness, process fit, and successful industrial scale-up.

Deliver high-quality and consistent technical customer support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Monitor and control indirect costs, ensuring budget compliance and continuous efficiency improvement.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in meat R&D or technical-commercial roles (meat specialist)

Hands‑on laboratory experience with texture analysis and physicochemical testing.

Experience in pilot-scale or industrial process validation.

High level of English (C1)

Valuable good level Spanish

Familiarity with industrial meat processing and related equipment.

Experience delivering technical training or application support to clients.

Knowledge of food regulations and quality systems.
