A leading engineering firm in Spain is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining electrical systems using EPLAN. You will work on customer-specific projects, prepare technical documentation, and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in electrical design. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

The position

You will be responsible for designing, adapting, and maintaining electrical systems and documentation, with EPLAN as the main design tool. This role supports customer‑specific projects by creating reliable and compliant electrical solutions. It also acts as a technical interface across internal departments, ensuring smooth project execution. The engineer contributes to continuous improvement, component selection, and design optimization throughout the product lifecycle.

Main responsibilities

• Design and modify electrical systems and schematics using EPLAN based on project and customer requirements.
• Prepare and update technical documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and system layouts.
• Select electrical and electromechanical components according to internal standards and supplier data.
• Coordinate technical solutions with internal teams and support customer‑related technical inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international and local standards in all designs.
• Review designs for manufacturability, propose improvements, and support updates of existing systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
