• Comfortable engaging with architecture teams to interpret documentation and evaluate design trade-offs.
• Proven ability in vendor management, including coordination and negotiation.

• Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with global vision.

Your role in the team

Role Overview

We’re seeking a strategic and delivery-oriented API Delivery & Governance Lead to oversee API initiatives as reusable, governed digital products. This role will collaborate with enterprise architecture, API engineering, and cross-functional business teams to ensure timely and quality delivery. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery pipeline, drive governance adoption, and manage external vendors in a complex, global tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead an international API development team, fostering delivery excellence and global coordination.
• Partner with the architecture team to ensure design alignment and scalable solutions.
• Own the full API delivery lifecycle—from planning and backlog management to go-live and monitoring.
• Drive an API-first mindset, ensuring specifications (OpenAPI, versioning, dependencies) are established before build.
• Define and embed governance standards across the API ecosystem, including lifecycle, documentation, and security.
• Coordinate testing, readiness, and release processes with QA, DevOps, and SecOps teams.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to align performance and delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban) and foster consistent team velocity and transparency.
• Track delivery KPIs (release stability, scope adherence, velocity) and actively mitigate risks and blockers.
• Serve as a conduit between business and technology, ensuring shared understanding and visibility.
