Teledyne Sevilla invites engineers to join a team focused on high-performance analog and mixed-signal systems. You will contribute across architecture definition, transistor-level design, and silicon verification, using HDL and CADENCE tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on design work, collaboration, and international opportunities within Teledyne Group. Applicants should have a strong background in analog IC design, DSP, and CMOS, plus a solid track record with Cadence tools.

Formación

• Experience in transistor-level analog IC design in CMOS process.

Education

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (Electronics specialization), Electronics Engineering, Physics (Electricity and Electronics specialization), Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics, or a Master's Degree in Microelectronics.

Previous Experience

• Experience in the design, analysis, simulation, layout, and verification of bandgap regulators, operational amplifiers, data converters, active filters, PLLs, and DC-DC converters.
• Experience with DSP algorithms, FIR filter design, windowing techniques, decimation, interpolation, and modulation.
• More than 3 years of experience in transistor-level analog integrated circuit design, preferably using standard CMOS technology.
• More than 2 years of experience using Cadence EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Spectre, PVS, and/or Calibre.

Additional Qualifications / Required Skills

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit operation, semiconductor device physics, CMOS technology, and its interaction with VLSI circuits.
• Knowledge of circuit analysis techniques, small-signal and large-signal behavior, noise analysis, quantitative mismatch calculations, stability analysis, and feedback loop compensation techniques.
• Knowledge of software for System-on-Chip (SoC) environments.

Languages

• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal systems.
• Define architectures, specifications, and models (using HDL languages), perform transistor-level design and simulations, layout design, physical extraction, and develop silicon verification and characterization methodologies.
• Develop test platforms and perform block-, chip-, and system-level circuit simulations for functional and timing verification.
• Execute the tests assigned in the verification plan and report any issues encountered during the execution of assigned tasks to the Technical Director.

Titulación / estudios

• Ingeniero en telecomunicación (especialidad en electrónica), ingeniero en electrónica o licenciado en Físicas (especialidad en electricidad y electrónica), Grado en Ingeniería Electrónica, Robótica y Mecatrónica, Máster Universitario en Microelectrónica

Experiencia previa

• Experiencia en diseño, análisis, simulación de circuitos y layout/verificación de reguladores de bandgap, amplificadores operacionales, convertidores de datos, filtros activos, PLL y convertidores DC-DC.
• Experiencia con algoritmos DSP, diseño de filtros FIR, técnicas de “windowing”, decimación, interpolación y modulación
• Más de 3 años de experiencia diseñando circuitos analógicos a nivel de transistor en circuitos integrados, preferiblemente con tecnología CMOS Standard.
• Más de 2 años de experiencia en el uso de herramientas EDA de Cadence como Virtuoso, Spectre, PVS y/o Calibre.

Otros títulos de especialización/competencias necesarios

• Conocimientos específicos de cómo funcionan los circuitos a nivel analógico y digital. Conocimiento de la física del dispositivo y de la tecnología CMOS y su interacción con los circuitos VLSI.
• Conocimiento de técnicas de análisis de circuitos, comportamiento de los circuitos de baja y gran señal, análisis de ruido, cálculo cuantitativo de “mismatch”, análisis de estabilidad y técnicas para estabilizar “feedback loops”.
• Conocimientos de software de sistemas en un solo chip.

Idiomas

• Buen nivel de inglés, tanto hablado como escrito.

Responsabilidades

• Contribuir en todas las fases del desarrollo de sistemas analógicos y de señal mixta de altas prestaciones.
• Definición de arquitectura, especificaciones, modelos (usando lenguajes HDL), diseño a nivel de transistores y simulaciones, diseño de layout, extracción física y desarrollo de metodología de verificación y caracterización en silicio.
• Desarrollo de plataformas de test y simulaciones de circuitos en bloque a nivel de chip y sistema para verificaciones funcionales y de tiempo de respuesta.
• Será responsable de ejecutar los test asignados en el plan de verificación y de informar al director técnico de cualquier incidencia durante el desarrollo de sus tareas.
