A global logistics firm based in Castilla-La Mancha is seeking a skilled professional to supervise air freight operations. The ideal candidate will handle cargo collection, coordinate with customers and agents, and ensure timely operations while maintaining documentation accuracy. Applicants should have strong organizational skills and a background in air freight logistics. This position requires leadership capabilities and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

Will be responsible for supervision of oversight, administration and operational handling Air Freight import and export operations and cargo collection at the airport terminals and will perform a variety of administrative tasks related to personnel supervision of operative team, CS, and office administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise the handle cargo collection at the airport terminals
  • Ensure timely cargo collection and monitor the status, informing to the OPS Manager or Airport Head.
  • Coordinate the cargo inspection with surveyor/customs when it is need it and supervise all task related to this specific function.
  • Reviewing freight rates with carriers and determining the most efficient and cost-effective method of moving freight
  • Costing and Quoting Air Export Freight
  • Arranging bookings; coordinating freight movement with customers, carriers, agents, and third parties; from port to destination; including pick up, storage, and delivery.
  • Preparing and processing documentation according to established procedures and regulations.
  • Supervise the Master and House B/L preparation.
  • Ensure the Tracking, Tracing and Confirmation.
  • Filing with Customs procedures agent.
  • Quotes for air export accounts and agents.
  • To support and supervise the invoice Customers process under C1.
  • Document distribution to customer, consignee and overseas agents.
  • Arrangement of shipment details with customer, carriers, agents, and third-parties.
  • Arranging and Dispatching Pickups from Vendors.
  • Communicating Timely and Effectively with Customers, Branch Offices, Agents, Vendors, and Internal Colleagues.
  • Work with warehouse in preparing shipments
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

To supervise the Airport site operations Team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Supervisor experience more than 3 years.
  • Technical education in AF policies and CCL procedures for Air Cargo.
  • With working experience in airfreight industry is preferable.
  • Computer knowledge, Excel, database, C1.
  • Customer-oriented with ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Willing to perform shift duty
