Airbus Defence and Space SAU busca ingeniero de software de simulación para el dominio de simuladores de vuelo Eurofighter, en Getafe. Ubicado en un equipo internacional, trabajarás en el desarrollo y prueba de modelos de simulación de aeronaves y en la integración con socios europeos.

Se valorará experiencia en simulación avionics, pruebas unitarias y documentación en inglés, con disponibilidad para viajar dentro de la UE. Se ofrece modelo híbrido y beneficios corporativos.

Formación

• Experiencia en el dominio de simulación aeronáutica es deseable.

Responsabilidades

• Derivar requisitos del sistema a partir de requisitos operativos para las funcionalidades más recientes del simulador.
• Actualizar modelos de simulación que representan el equipo de aeronaves.
• Implementar modelos de software (C++ y ADA).
• Crear y realizar pruebas unitarias/sistema/aceptación del software (C++ / Python, Jenkins).
• Realizar pruebas de integración.
• Gestión de configuración de SW.
• Desarrollar herramientas para nuestros sistemas de prueba y simulación (p. ej., Generadores de código/ICD).
• Coordinar el desarrollo con nuestros socios y clientes internacionales.
• Redactar documentos conforme a los procesos existentes de la empresa.

Job Description: If you are passionate about fighter aircrafts, you spend hours with flight simulators and you are looking for an opportunity to work in a company with cutting-edge technology, please continue reading this job offer. As we are committed to delivering high-quality, realistic simulations that help our clients train their personnel and improve their operations, we are looking for a simulation software engineer in the scope of the Eurofighter’s flight simulator domain. As part of the combat simulation team located in Getafe, you will work in an international group with continuous contact with our German colleagues. The position includes the following tasks:

• Derive system requirements from operational requirements for latest simulator functionalities.
• Update existing simulation models representing aircraft equipment.
• Implement software models (C++ and ADA)
• Create and perform unit/system/acceptance tests of the software (C++ / Python, Jenkins)
• Perform integration testing
• SW Configuration Management.
• Develop tools for our test & simulation systems (e.g. Code / ICD Generators)
• Coordinate the development with our international partners and customers
• Write documents according to the existing company processes.

* Required Skills *

• Experience in the Eurofighter program would be beneficial
• General Avionics knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in software design & testing.
• Experience in procedural and object orientated programming.
• Experience in unit, system testing and software integration.
• Experience writing documentation in English according to the SW life cycle processes.

- Very good knowledge of tools / technologies:

* DOORS

• C++, Ada 95, QML, OpenGL
• Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell)
• Linux: advance level is mandatory.
• Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (Jenkins) would be beneficial
• 3rd generation of software version control Systems (Git)
• Communication Protocols & Frameworks (TCP/IP, RS422, 1553, ...)
• Experience in the simulation domain (avionics, rehostings, visual systems) would be beneficial
• Proactivity is key
• Capability to work independently
• Analytical structured thinking
• Very good English written and spoken
• Availability to travel occasionally is mandatory (mainly within the EU). Average of 1 week each two months.
