Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking an experienced AI Technical Lead to drive the adoption of AI across our software lifecycle. You will set standards, toolchains, and secure deployment strategies while ensuring alignment with business goals and AI governance.

The role requires working closely with developers and engineering leaders, mentoring teams, and shaping how AI capabilities such as LLMs and embeddings are integrated across products and platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development, IT strategy, or technical leadership experience.
• 3+ years applying AI in production with LLMs or generative AI.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable AI-enabled systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and technical implementation for AI adoption across products and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG, embeddings).
• Define AI development standards, best practices, and tool recommendations.
• Architect scalable, secure AI solutions aligned with business needs and governance.
• Design and enforce secure AI workflows including data privacy and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with Product, IT, Security, and Business stakeholders to align priorities.
• Mentor technical teams and provide leadership and coaching.
• Advocate AI internally and educate stakeholders on value and limits.
• Create documentation and training materials to support AI adoption.
• Monitor AI tools and trends and recommend strategic adoption.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced AI Technical Lead to guide our development teams in effectively integrating AI into our software lifecycle. You will define best practices, toolchains, and secure deployment strategies while ensuring alignment between business goals, technical implementation, and AI governance.

The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, is passionate about AI adoption, has a strong background working closely with developers and engineering leaders, and has proven experience in team leadership.

What you´ll do

• Lead strategy and technical implementation for AI adoption across products and platforms.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure successful integration of AI capabilities (e.g., LLMs, RAG, embeddings).
• Define AI development standards, best practices, and tool recommendations.
• Architect scalable, secure AI solutions that align with business needs and governance requirements.
• Design and enforce secure AI workflows, including data privacy, model governance, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Security, and Business stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide technical teams; provide technical leadership and coaching.
• Evangelize AI capabilities internally; educate non-technical stakeholders on AI value and limitations.
• Establish documentation, training materials, and internal frameworks to support AI adoption.
• Monitor emerging AI tools, trends, and frameworks and recommend strategic adoption.

Requierements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, IT strategy, or technical leadership.
• 3+ years applying AI in production environments, including practical implementation with LLMs, generative AI, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable systems with AI capabilities.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross functional teams.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML stacks..
• Experience with low code/no code AI tools or integration platforms.
