Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to define, implement, and govern security architectures for AI/ML systems and Generative AI solutions across the organization. The role combines deep technical expertise in AI security with governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to enable secure AI adoption.

The position offers a hybrid work model with the possibility to work remotely and spend up to 25 days per year abroad, with a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI Security Architecture or Security Engineering within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems, MLOps environments, and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AI-specific attack vectors and threat scenarios.
• Experience securing AI/ML platforms and cloud AI services.
• Knowledge of Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI security controls and architectures.
• Familiarity with AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Solid background in API security, IAM, data security, vulnerability management, and related security domains.
• Strong interest in Information Technology and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security architectures for AI/ML systems, including model training environments, data pipelines, MLOps workflows, and inference endpoints.
• Provide architectural guidance on securing AI/ML platforms, cloud-based AI services, and Generative AI deployments.
• Define and maintain AI security policies, model risk standards, and security baselines aligned with governance and compliance frameworks.
• Support AI risk assessments, deployment approval processes, and risk acceptance workflows.
• Establish and monitor AI security KPIs and KRIs, providing reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture review processes and act as a trusted adviser to AI and data engineering teams.
• Assess and mitigate AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model inversion, data poisoning, adversarial attacks, and supply chain risks.
