NeuralTrust, a Barcelona-based AI startup, is seeking an AI Research Engineer (PhD required) to lead product vision, shape platform strategy, and work with enterprise clients to scale AI transformation.

You will design AI-driven components, apply NLP/LLMs, lead model fine-tuning experiments, develop data pipelines, and publish findings while bridging research and engineering. Hybrid remote role with competitive compensation.

Formación

• PhD in AI/ML or related field required.
• Strong publications, patents, or significant contributions to AI.
• Proficient in Python with experience in ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch/TF).

Responsabilidades

What You Will Do

• Design and implement novel AI-driven components of our platform.
• Apply state-of-the-art research in NLP, LLMs, and generative AI to production systems.

This role requires a PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

• PhD with strong research experience in AI/ML (NLP, generative AI, or similar).
• Proven record of publications, patents, or significant contributions to the AI field.
• Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, optimization, and applied statistics.
• Hacker mentality: able to rapidly prototype, experiment, and adapt.
• Comfortable bridging research and engineering: from theory to production.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
